Whether you need a door repaired, a wall patched, a fence fixed or a room repainted, I aim to make the process straightforward. For common household repairs, I offer indicative fixed prices. For larger or more complex jobs, I provide a quote based on the work involved.

Prices are indicative starting prices for standard jobs, not guaranteed flat rates for every situation. Materials are charged separately unless stated otherwise. Larger jobs and work requiring an assessment will be quoted individually.
Hourly Rates
For general repairs, maintenance and jobs where the scope cannot be determined in advance, I charge:
- First hour / service visit: $95
- Additional time: $80 per hour
The first-hour charge covers the initial service visit and the first hour of work carried out on site. Additional labour is charged at the hourly rate above.
If a job requires a separate assessment, material collection or a return visit, I will explain the arrangements and any applicable charges before proceeding. Travel is not charged as a separate fee.
For larger jobs, such as painting, multiple repairs or deck maintenance, I can provide a fixed-price quote wherever the scope can be clearly established.
Site Visits & Quotes
For straightforward jobs, I can often provide an estimate based on photos and a description of the work. Where a site visit is necessary to confirm the scope, I will explain any applicable charges in advance.
For more complex problems that require detailed investigation, diagnosis or an assessment of different repair options, an assessment fee may apply. Where agreed, this fee can be credited towards the work if you proceed with the job.
You will always know what to expect before any chargeable work begins.
Materials & Additional Costs
Materials, replacement parts and specialist products are charged separately unless included in the quote.
If additional work becomes necessary or the scope changes, I will discuss the options and any price adjustment with you before proceeding. No unexpected extra work will be carried out without your agreement.
